Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet (7g) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
For the Topping:
- 1 cup tomato sauce (plain or lightly seasoned)
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2–3 ripe bananas, sliced evenly
- Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a sweet twist
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pizza Dough:
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
2. Preheat Oven:
- Preheat to 220°C (425°F).
- If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
3. Assemble the Pizza:
- Roll out dough to desired shape.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously.
- Arrange banana slices evenly.
- Optional: sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg.
4. Bake:
- Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
